New Year projects...

Christmas and its build up has been an absolute whirlwind in the Gennywren household! Christmas fair filled weekends, hubby drawing to the end of a very busy Autumn term and three over excited young children on their knees with exhaustion.  This was followed by all the normal festive over indulgence, treks up and down the M5 to visit family and visiting friends from overseas. I think its fair to say we packed a heck of a lot in!

Now that the tree is down 😢 everyone is back to school and I've had a chance to get into the workshop to have something of a clean up, I'm starting to look forward to new season projects.

The arrival today of a very snazzy new goldsmiths' hammer as well as a recent gift of an enamelling starter set means there may be a few new ranges on the cards as and when I am able to master the new techniques.

St. Valentine's Day is imminent, as is Mother's day, so start thinking now about those special gifts. I'm also hoping to put together a special range of jewellery items with brides and bridal parties in mind - keep your eyes peeled!

In the meantime feast your eyes on this little gem of a hammer and my fancy new file... its fair to say I am looking forward to using it tomorrow!

Genevieve xx
